Bolata and Taukliman

To the north of Kaliakra are located two small wet zones – Bolata and Taukliman ("The Bird bay"). Here nest interesting water-like birds – small water bull, small loon, ducks. Immeasurably abundant are these places during the spring, when more than 150 species of birds stop for rest and feeding. The surrounding cliff massifs are shelter for the owl, white-tailed buzzard; endangered of extinction reptiles, which are included in the Red book of Bulgaria.
